Our ancient tree
This old tree.
The forest.
And me.
Triangle in nature
Following footsteps.
Of those who walked.
These trails.
Before us.
Images
Let your imagination.
Go wild.
And you will see.
Dragon wings.
And other things.
Looking up.
Listen to the wind.
Listen to the trees.
Listen to the sounds.
Floating on the breeze!

Clouds move us from 2021, into 2022

I Know Not Why
by Morris Rosenfeld
I lift my eyes against the sky,
The clouds are weeping, so am I;
I left mine eyes again on high,
The sun is smiling, so am I.
Why do I smile? Why do I weep?
I do not know; it lies too deep.
I hear the winds of autumn sigh,
They break my heart,
they make me cry;
I hear the birds of lovely spring,
My hopes revive, I help them sing.

Why do I sing? Why do I cry?

Looking at the World

A cool pair of glasses…
Looking at the World

Looking at the world,
through rose coloured glasses.
As the winds, and the clouds,
roll by.
Like thoughts, and ideas,
they make smooth passes
My feelings;
like dots in the sky.
Surrounding yourself pleasantly,
is difficult sometimes.
The flowers, and the trees,
aren't always in rhyme.
My expectations are like chimes,
in what the world finds fair.
So different is the light,
that my daydreams share.

The Beautiful Daffodil

Where woods and the daffodil meet
Daffodils, by William Wordsworth, from the album Favourite Poetry.

I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Mellow Yellow
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
Wild and Free
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves of glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed - and gazed - but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
Woodlands
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.
Beauty in Beauty
Pussy willows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses
Rainbow in the woodlands, water to my knees
Shivering, quivering, the warm breath of spring
Pussy willows, cat-tails, soft winds and roses.

Just choose me!

My New Favourite Poem

The book, the Flame, was put together in the year before his death in 2016.
In it is this beautiful poem.

I PRAY FOR COURAGE
I pray for courage
Now I’m old
To greet the sickness
and the cold.

I pray for courage
In the night
To Bear the burden
make it light

I pray for courage
in the time
When suffering comes and
Starts to climb

I Pray for courage
At the end
To see death coming
As a friend
